Guitarist Timothy Price hails from the Minneapolis area and has been playing
guitar and studying music for almost 35 years. Tim spent the last two
decades in Atlanta where he studied with many fine teachers including Erik
Halbig (Ty Herndon, Sara Evans), Johnny Hiland and Richard Smith
(renowned fingerstyle guitarist and 2001 National Fingerstyle champion). Tim
has also attended workshops and clinics with Brent Mason (first call
Nashville recording artist), Victor Wooten, Tommy Emmanuel, Pete
Huttlinger, Lawrence Juber, Corey Christiansen, Jimmy Bruno, Pat Martino
and Mr. John Knowles C.G.P. Tim also studied at Minneapolis' Music Tech
and in 2001 graduated with honors from the Atlanta Institute of Music.

Tim has been playing professionally for over twenty five years and has
played in a wide variety of musical settings including country, rock, blues,
jazz, classical and solo fingerstyle guitar. He has toured all over North
America and  played lead guitar and mandolin for over ten years with
Atlanta favorites, Banks and Shane. Before Banks & Shane, Tim played in Las
Vegas exclusively for Steve Wynn properties. He has performed with Jeff
Foxworthy, Lee Greenwood, Brent Rowan and many others. In 2007 Tim
played the inaugural ball of Senator Johnny Isakson at the prestigious
Kennedy Center for the Arts in Washington D.C.

Tim is a talented solo fingerstyle guitarist as well and had the esteemed
honor of playing for Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin at a luncheon in her
behalf in 2010. Tim is the on-staff guitarist at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in
New Prague, Minnesota and also offers private lessons at Downtown Sound
